MAIN BHI MAA BAN GAYA – Play

The play is a story woven around a middle class family in the rural area of Bundelkhand. The patriarch of the family presuming that his daughter-in-law would bear a son writes his will in the name of his grandson instead of his son Ghanshyam. However, Ghanshyam gets frustrated when his wife bears two daughters and longs for a son so much so that one fine evening he finds himself pregnant with a son. The play is a hilarious commentary on society and its double standards with witty dialogues in hindi and bundelkhandi.
